Level Best Concrete Flooring has recently constructed 33,000 square feet of concrete flooring in Keighley on behalf of a local speculative warehouse developer from West Yorkshire.
With ready-mixed concrete supplied from local Breedon plant 360m3 of concrete was poured per day utilising the Somero laser screed. Due to high temperatures the industrial concrete flooring contractor selected a concrete mix with a high blend content to assist in the control of the initial set.
As you can see from the photographs Level Best achieves an excellent sub base working platform using their laser-controlled sub base levelling machinery.
A gas membrane was required to meet regulations and this was installed progressively throughout the pours working in tandem with the concrete installation team. The finishing and powerfloating teams started on site earlier than the norm as concrete was curing rapidly and Level Best wanted to ensure quality was maintained throughout.
The floor joint installation team carried out the shrinkage control joints and as per the Level Best system, these joints were sealed immediately to prevent being damaged.
