This damaged floor joint to an existing warehouse in London was 60 metres long and the whole works took just five days to carry out.

As you can see from this photograph the new permanent joint has been set within a resin shutter, between the concrete floor slab. The resin is left proud of the surface to create a solid horizontal support for the new floor joint. This means that the floor joint is supported both vertically and horizontally, thus creating an extremely load resistant floor repair.
Floor joint removal and replacement is complete. The photograph shows the floor is smooth and level across the interface between joint repair and existing floor. The profile of the floor joint means the fork lifts and other mechanical handling equipment are never in contact with all of the joint at any onetime at the disruptive face.

This photograph shows the the damaged floor joint has been broken out evenly either side and is now ready for preparation works. The concrete has been broken out to a depth of circa 60mm and left level with the existing floor slab.
Once the damaged concrete has been removed the area receives a high strength resin filler which is applied to floor bonding agent. The resin filler forms an excellent foundation to support the main jointing strip itself and negate the chance of the new joint repair settling over time and under duress.
