The industrial concrete floor slab comprised of 1200 gauge polythene membrane, 1-layer of A252 steel fabric reinforcing mesh, 200mm thick C40 ready-mixed concrete, dust inhibiting curing agent and sawn free movement joints.
RC40/50 ready-mixed concrete was delivered from Watts Mix’s Selby batching plant, with cubes taken and crushed at 7, 14 and 28 days to ascertain the compressive strength of the concrete and ensure it conformed with the client’s specification.
