Internal Warehouse Concrete Floors

Customers often ask industrial concrete flooring contractors what design is best for internal warehouse concrete floors, particularly are jointless floors better than jointed?

The answer to this question depends on the specific job.  If a company hasn’t finalised their racking positions, it is often better to have jointless flooring as it gives more flexibility to where the racking legs will go.  Also, if a customer is looking for cost-effective solutions for piled floors, steel fibre jointless floors can often be the best solution.

On the other hand, steel-mesh reinforced jointed concrete floors might be more appropriate and cost-effective for warehouse floors with reasonable ground conditions i.e. doesn’t need piling or drastically improving.
