Jon Wilcox has a wealth of experience within the concrete flooring world. Jon started life as a concrete operative working for a local building contractor C R Booth from Beverley. Whilst working on site Jon attended Leeds College of Building studying concrete technology. Following valuable site experience Jon went to work for Tarmac Topmix in various different departments including sales and technical. After 10 years working for a concrete supplier Jon joined a leading international design and build flooring contractor producing steel fibre jointless reinforced concrete floors. In May 2017 Jon started the new company Level Best Concrete Flooring Limited which specialises in innovative concrete flooring systems. One of Jon’s primary roles, is to ensure that Level best remain at the top of their game by researching new developments and technology within the industrial concrete flooring world.
Luke Morrow the companies Contracts Director is a true concrete man and his dedication to the business is outstanding. Luke was introduced into concrete flooring straight from school through family and friends and has not looked back since. Starting life working on site for a medium sized concrete flooring contractor, Luke worked with Jon at a previous concrete flooring company. Luke’s ability and knowledge enables him to operate and manage every single activity within the concrete flooring contractor’s processes. Luke is in overall control of all of Level Best’s concrete flooring contracts, site staff and ensuring our customers are left with an end product constructed to an exceptional standard.
Adam Brown is a diligent and dynamic individual who has grasped the concept of concrete floor contracting very quickly. After spending time in various roles, Adam went on to estimate contracts for a specialist contractor based in Lincoln. From there Adam worked with Jon at a locally based concrete flooring contractor. Adam started with Level Best Concrete Flooring Limited almost from conception and manages the tendering and estimating of all new concrete flooring enquiries. Adam is also responsible for the quantity surveying within the company.
Chris Wood is a fully qualified accountant and runs the payroll, mangement accounts and purchase ledger systems for Level Best Concrete Flooring. Chris is an invaluable member of the team and he benefits the business massively with his skills, knowledge and ability. Chris also looks after the concrete flooring contractor’s staff contracts and is fully conversant in the latest employment law.
Billy Hilyard has vast experience in the world of concrete flooring having worked for many concrete flooring contractors over a period of 30 years. Billy’s duties involve the liaison with our clients both prior to commencement and on completion to ensure client satisfaction. Billy also looks after the delivery and maintenance of Level Best Concrete Flooring’s equipment and materials ensuring they arrive at the right time at the right place.
Steve, like most of his colleagues in the Level Best Concrete Flooring team has spent all of his working life involved in concrete floor contracting. Steve has gained valuable experience over the years working for small, medium and large industrial concrete flooring contractors. Steve is another valuable asset to Level Best Concrete Flooring and is heavily involved in training and bringing the next generation of concrete layers and finishers through the ranks.
Karen is based at the Level Best Concrete Flooring headquarters, on the outskirts of Goole, East Yorkshire. Karen organises the movement of the concreting teams and forms an excellent link between the various different departments of the concrete flooring contractors business and ensures our clients are kept informed throughout the processes. Karen has certificates of achievement in First Aid in the workplace, RIDDOR, manual Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Warden, Risk Assessments and Asbestos Awareness.
Ryan gained vast experience working for a major concrete flooring contractor and joined Level Best Concrete Flooring in September 2017. Ryan can install saw cut induced contraction joints to the highest of standard and or permanent steel profile joint solutions as well. The speed as to which Ryan works at allows steel construction joints to be installed quickly and safely in front of the concrete flooring team.
Robert joins Level Best Concrete Flooring having vast experience working in the haulage business for many years. Robert is responsible for loading and delivery of the laser screed concrete flooring machines and laser controlled sub base levelling machinery.
Neil is one of the most experienced concrete finishers in the UK. The dedication and effort Neil puts into leaving a concrete floor of the highest standards is a lesson for all. Neil is in charge of both concrete finishing shifts at the company and part of his role also incorporates the maintenance and servicing of the powerfloats
Ben Austin is responsible for operating and maintaining the laser controlled stone levelling machinery at Level Best Concrete Flooring Ben has vast experience in all aspect of groundowrks which is especially useful when Level Best are contracted to remove damaged concrete floor slabs.<br /> The laser controlled sub base laying machine is capable of laying and compacting over 2,000m2 per day when in full flight.
Matt joins Level Best after taking a degree in civil and structural engineering. Matt’s role within the concrete floor contracting company is to promote the companies services to new customers, particularly the Floor Renovation System and the steel fibre and steel mesh reinforced “Combislab” systems.
Alan has 42 years in experience on the operating and maintenance of construction plant and equipment. His knowledge on how to keep machinery operational on a 24/7 basis is invaluable to Level Best Concrete Flooring. Alan manages the regular servicing of the powerfloats, generators, delivery vehicles along with the extensive range of concrete flooring equipment Level Best operate.
Russell operates and maintains the Somero laser screed concrete flooring machine, owned by Level Best Concrete Flooring. Russell can also operate the laser guided sub base leveller and the Ligchine laser screed flooring machine and hence makes himself a very useful chap for the industrial concrete flooring contractors.
Graham has been driving and operating laser screed floor levelling and compacting machines for over 15 years. With the addition to the Level Best fleet of another Somero laser screed, Graham is the ideal candidate to drive and maintain the laser screed machine and is an asset to the team.
Shaine is a welcome new member to the Level Best Concrete Flooring team and has vast experience of both hand lay slabs and laser screed concrete flooring.
Kiah joins the industrial concrete flooring contractor at an exciting time and is a welcome addition to the office support team. Within a short space of time Kiah has already proved herself to be a diligent and responsible member of the Level Best staff and we know she has a bright future ahead of her.
Darren has vast experience within the concrete flooring world. With the growth of the Floor Renovation System part of the business Darren is now running the entire projects from conception to completion. The wide variety of concrete floor cleaning tasks and floor repairs that occur on these types of restoration projects suits Darren ideally as he likes a challenge and is not phased when problems occur.
Adrian is welcome new member to the industrial concrete flooring contractors team and joins Level Best at a time of rapid growth. Adrian's duties include managing the paperwork for both customers and site operatives to ensure Level Best are following the latest guidelines for the construction industry. Adrian is another locally based person and has qualifications in IOSH Managing Team Safely, HNC Construction and the Built Environment and vast experience in carrying out Risk and Method statements.
