Jon Wilcox has a wealth of experience within the concrete flooring world. Jon started life as a concrete operative working for a local building contractor C R Booth from Beverley. Whilst working on site Jon attended Leeds College of Building studying concrete technology. Following valuable site experience Jon went to work for Tarmac Topmix in various different departments including sales and technical. After 10 years working for a concrete supplier Jon joined a leading international design and build flooring contractor producing steel fibre jointless reinforced concrete floors. After 7 years of working for the flooring contractor Jon set up a locally based concrete flooring contractor with a business partner. Jon held this position for 8 years and grew the company from £500k to £3.5 million. In May 2017 Jon started the new company Level Best Concrete Flooring Limited which specialises in innovative concrete floor systems. As well as dealing with the overall running of the business one of Jon’s primary roles is the future research and development of new concrete flooring solutions within the industry.
Luke Morrow the companies Contracts Director is a true concrete man and his dedication to the business is outstanding. Luke was introduced into concrete flooring straight from school through family and friends and has not looked back since. Starting life working on site for a medium sized concrete flooring contractor, Luke then worked with Jon at the locally based industrial concrete flooring contractor. Luke then gradually moved up the ladder into a supervisory role and managed contracts up to the value of £1 million pounds. Luke’s ability and knowledge enables him to operate and manage every single activity within the concrete flooring contractor’s processes. Luke is in overall control of all of Level Best’s concrete flooring contracts, site staff and ensuring our customers are left with an end product of outstanding quality.
Adam Brown is a diligent and dynamic individual who has grasped the concept of concrete floor contracting very quickly. After spending time in various roles, Adam went on to estimate contracts for a specialist contractor based in Lincoln. From there Adam worked with Jon at a locally based concrete flooring contractor. Adam started with Level Best Concrete Flooring Limited almost from conception and manages the tendering and estimating of all new concrete flooring enquiries. Adam is also responsible for the quantity surveying within the company.
Chris Wood is a fully qualified accountant and runs the payroll, mangement accounts and purchase ledger systems for Level Best Concrete Flooring. Chris is an invaluable member of the team and he benefits the business massively with his skills, knowledge and ability. Chris also looks after the concrete flooring contractor’s staff contracts and is fully conversant in the latest employment law.
Billy Hilyard has vast experience in the world of concrete flooring having worked for many concrete flooring contractors over a period of 30 years. Billy’s duties involve the liaison with our clients both prior to commencement and on completion to ensure client satisfaction. Billy also looks after the delivery and maintenance of Level Best Concrete Flooring’s equipment and materials ensuring they arrive at the right time at the right place.
Mark is a extremely experienced laser screed driver and has operated a variety of concrete flooring machinery in his time. He has quickly adapted to the new Ligchine remote control laser screed and he drives it with ease allowing the company to produce some of the flattest concrete floors in the country resulting in producing a concrete floor slab of excellent quality.
Scott joins Level Best Concrete Flooring with previous experience working for a large national concrete flooring contractor. Scott is another welcome addition to the industrial concrete flooring contractors site based management team. Working directly under our Contracts Director, Scott will be responsible for ensuring that the company continues to provide a quality product in a safe and timely manner.
Steve, like most of his colleagues in the Level Best Concrete Flooring team has spent all of his working life involved in concrete floor contracting. Steve has gained valuable experience over the years working for small, medium and large industrial concrete flooring contractors. Steve is another valuable asset to Level Best Concrete Flooring and is heavily involved in training and bringing the next generation of concrete layers and finishers through the ranks.
Karen is a valued member of the team at the Level Best Concrete Flooring headquarters. Karen forms an excellent link between the various different departments of the concrete flooring contractors business and ensures our clients are kept informed throughout the processes. Karen has certificates of achievement in First Aid in the workplace, RIDDOR, manual Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Warden, Risk Assessments and Asbestos Awareness
Dale joined Level Best Concrete Flooring in February 2018. Dale is 26 years of age and after many years carrying out site based roles within the industrial concrete flooring industry, decided he wanted to further his career training as a Quantity Surveyor. Dale is also assisting our Estimating department to assist with the large amount of enquiries the company is receiving for both new cast insitu concrete floor slabs and also the Floor Renovation System.
Ryan gained vast experience working for a major concrete flooring contractor and joined Level Best Concrete Flooring in September 2017. Ryan can install saw cut induced contraction joints to the highest of standard and or permanent steel profile joint solutions as well. The speed as to which Ryan works at allows steel construction joints to be installed quickly and safely in front of the concrete flooring team.
Andrew manages the transport movements on behalf of Level Best Concrete Flooring. The concrete flooring contractor carries out concrete flooring contracts all over the UK including the channel islands and so organising and co ordinating the movement of the companies concrete flooring equipment can be quite demanding.
Tom joined Level Best Concrete Flooring in October following the downturn of work at his previous company. Tom was promoted to the position of Supervisor in April 2018 after training for the last two months. Tom has extensive knowledge in both concrete laying and concrete finishing. With good communication skills and a pleasant manner with the concrete contractors customers, Tom is another asset to the company
Neil is one of the most experienced concrete finishers in the UK. The dedication and effort Neil puts into leaving a concrete floor of the highest standards is a lesson for all. Neil is in charge of both concrete finishing shifts at the company and part of his role also incorporates the maintenance and servicing of the powerfloats
