This new warehouse on the outskirts of Howden, near Goole has received a fully powerfloated concrete floor slab, laid and levelled by Level Best Concrete Flooring. The industrial concrete flooring contractors completed the 4 consecutive concrete floor slab pours only last week. Once the powerfloating operations were completed the internal warehouse concrete floor slab, was spray cured using Sika Proseal floor sealing compound.
The warehouse concrete floor slab was laid 200mm deep and reinforced with 1 layer of A252 mesh and sawn induced joints cut at specific centres to suit the configuration of the warehouse building itself. Level Best Concrete Flooring used a machine to lay the concrete floor known in the concrete flooring business as a “magic screed” . The magic screed along with skilled concreting operatives is an ideal piece of kit to use in tight and awkward areas and still offers excellent compaction rates in conjunction with vibrating pokers to ensure the concrete has been correctly laid.
