Industrial concrete floor slabs for new car showroom and workshops on behalf of Hyundai in Leeds, West Yorkshire, by Level Best Concrete Flooring Limited.

Level Best Concrete Flooring has recently completed the ground floor and mezzanine cast insitu concrete floor slabs on behalf of Caddick Construction from Knottingley in West Yorkshire. Caddick Construction were impressed with Level Best Concrete Flooring’s overall flexibility and willingness to carry out what tend to be quite awkward details such as slab thickenings and recess details. The concrete slabs were laid by the industrial concrete flooring contractor in extremely high temperatures by UK standards and so the highly trained and skilled workforce had to manage every aspect of the concrete slab casting incredibly carefully to ensure the final end product was carried out to the highest of standards and also in line with flatness tolerances set out by TR34 2013 edition. Sawn induced contraction joints were timed to perfection following the casting of the slabs to ensure the shrinkage was managed within the cast insitu slab itself.

Due to access restrictions the concrete supplied by Breedon concrete of Leeds was pumped throughout the 3 number concrete pours and the concrete was laser levelled and controlled with the extensive amount of concreting equipment owned by the industrial concrete flooring contractors. All of the concrete areas received a powerfloated surface finish to the concrete and were spray cured using a Sika curing agent.
