Hardcastle Renewables on the outskirts of Goole in East Yorkshire contracted Level Best Concrete Flooring to carry out the installation of a 150mm deep steel mesh reinforced concrete floor slab for the extension to their existing premises.
Due to the concrete flooring contractors extensive workload and the clients need for curing times, the concrete slabs had to be poured over the weekend. Radymixed concrete supplied from Watts Mix Concrete was supplied at a constantly consistent rate throughout the concrete pour.
The external concrete yard required multiple falls to enable the levels to match the many variable and different interfaces within the clients yard. The concrete flooring contractors skilled operatives managed to create the falls and finish the slabs with a rough texture to the concrete surface. This surface finish lasts longer than the more commonly seen brush finish, especially in particularly wet and dirty environments.
