The concrete floor slabs varied in depth from 150 to 200mm deep and were reinforced with fibres integrated within the concrete mix. The fibre reinforced floor slabs were laid and levelled using the concrete flooring contractors Ligchine laser screed. The largest concrete pour on the project was 340m3 and the laser screed comfortably kept up with he rapid delivery from Breedon Concrete’s local supply batching plant.
The concrete flooring contractors specialist finishing team ensured a high quality powerfloated floor was achieved to the clients liking. Flatness and level tolerances in line with TR34 FM2 were proven on each slab casting day.
Once the slabs had been spray cured with Sika Proseal the dawn joints were installed. Level Best then installed the joint by sealant Sawcut Seal to all of the induced joints. This superb joint sealant material instantaneously seals the saw cut job joints without any curing time required.
The entire concrete flooring project took the concrete flooring contractors 5 consecutive days to carry out from initial mobilisation to leaving the site in immaculate condition.
