Level Best Concrete Flooring, one of the UK’s leading retail concrete flooring contractors, has recently completed a full design, supply and construct contract for a new retail unit in Tamworth, Staffordshire on behalf of a new retail and distributing client.
Level Best Concrete Flooring worked closely with the client in the preliminary stages to help specify exactly what retail concrete flooring solution was required. Level Best brought forward a number of options, with a coloured and polished retail concrete floor solution been the eventual chosen option.
The first phase of works included the design, supply and construction of a 200mm thick floor slab incorporating steel reinforcing mesh and a grey dry shake topping. The dry shake topping was chosen by the client to ensure a high-spec coloured uniformed finish would be achieved.
The next phase of works involved Level Best Concrete Flooring carrying out their 6-stage Floor Renovation Polishing System. This system enhances the floor slab leaving a dust-proof, easy clean and easy to maintain surface finish. This 6-stage system in combination with a coloured dry shake topping will leave a high-spec retail concrete flooring solution.
