Level Best Concrete Flooring achieve FM1 tolerance on second consecutive contract

Level Best Concrete Flooring, one of the UK’s leading industrial concrete flooring contractors, has achieved a FM1 surface regularity floor class as per The Concrete Society’s TR34 4th Edition on a second consecutive industrial warehouse concrete floor slab contract in Nottingham, Midlands following the scheme in Royston, Hertfordshire.

The floor slab was independently surveyed by a specialist following the laser screed construction of the floor slab. The specialist survey company confirmed that Level Best had successfully achieved a FM1 surface regularity floor class – the highest floor class achievable in free-movement floor areas.

The exact same construction methods were applied by Level Best’s Subbase, Slab Preparation, Slab Installation and Power Trowelling Teams. All teams worked simultaneously utilising the latest concrete flooring technology and machinery to ensure that high tolerances are met. Two successive FM1 floor slabs proves that consistency is key in the construction of high-tolerance concrete floors.
