Level Best Concrete Flooring, the UK’s leading industrial warehouse concrete floor slab refurbishment contractor, has recently completed a 28,000m² refurbishment contract in Avonmouth, Bristol on behalf of one of the UK’s largest modern logistics and distribution property owners and also a leading West-Midlands-based principle contractor who specialise in major dilapidation and refurbishment schemes. This is the fourth refurbishment scheme Level Best has successfully carried out on behalf of the West-Midlands-based contractor.
This contract in Avonmouth, Bristol was another opportunity for Level Best to demonstrate their all-encompassing Floor Renovation System, which includes but is not limited to the following refurbishment processes:-
- Localised epoxy resin patch repairs
- Joint arris breakdown repairs
- Heavy-duty joint repair solution (below)
- Existing joint resealing
- Core drilling removal of previous tenant installed racking bolts and fixings
- Line marking and demarcation removal
- Resin flooring removal
- ‘Jointless’ steel fibre reinforced concrete floor slab overlay solutions
- Diamond grind, clean, polish and seal
Initial concrete floor samples were carried out by Level Best to demonstrate exactly what high-specification of finish could be achieved with the diamond cleaning, polishing and sealing system. Level Best proceeded with the refurbishment contract on a pre-agreed accelerated programme enabling immediate re-letting of the industrial unit. Level Best’s experienced Floor Renovation Team commenced onsite in September 2020 and handed the high-specification refurbishment works back to the principle contractor and client 2-weeks ahead of schedule in January 2021. This was an exceptional effort from Level Best considering the volume of works specified under challenging time constraints on this contract in Avonmouth, Bristol.
