Industrial concrete flooring specialists, Level Best Concrete Flooring, have completed another medium-sized retro-fit bespoke industrial/commercial project on behalf of a private client and industrial landlord in the heart of central England in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Level Best worked closely with the main contractor and client to specify the exact concrete flooring requirements prior to starting works onsite. The initial works involved planing down the existing slab in places providing a flat, stable working platform to construct the new slab off. All slab planing and subbase works on this project in Warwickshire were carried out in-house by Level Best Concrete Flooring utilising specialist industrial concrete flooring machinery.
On completion of the preparatory works, Level Best installed a suitable industrial concrete floor slab utilising traditional hand-lay construction techniques in conjunction with mobile concrete pumps. The slab was given a full powerfloat surface finish, as per the below image, and sealed utilising a water-based curing and sealing agent. Intermediate sawn induced joints we installed into the finished slab in Leamington Spa and sealed with a cutting-edge sealing system.
Level Best are regularly working on projects similar in nature to this project in Warwickshire.
