Level Best Concrete Flooring has completed the installation of the concrete floor slabs to 8 new speculatively constructed warehouses located at Doncaster Airport distribution centre. The initial preparation works including the laser controlled sub base levelling and joint installation, along with insulation beneath the floor took a total of 3 weeks to carry out. The floor slabs designed at 150mm deep with 1 layer of A193 steel fabric mesh and C32/40 concrete supplied by the local Tarmac plant were installed over a 6 day period. Due to the complexity of the actual concrete pouring itself in Doncaster, Level Best selected their new battery powered laser screed to install the floors to the flatness tolerance of FM2 TR34 2013 edition. The floors were independently tested and proven to be within tolerance, an excellent achievement for the concrete flooring contractors and a quality end product.
