This new warehouse in Canterbury built on behalf of a local logistics operator required a high tolerance concrete floor slab. Level Best was contracted to design and install the concrete floor slab in Canterbury.
The initial floor preparation works commenced with Level Best isolating the perimeter columns and installing the pre formed construction joints. Once the floor joints were installed and the sub base material laid and compacted by Level Best, the concrete flooring works commenced immediately.
With local concrete supplier Brett supplying concrete at the rate of 30m3 per hour, Level Best installed the full 2,800m2 of floor area in just two working days. Following the concrete laying and subsequent powerfloating of the floors, the sawn joints were installed and sealed using Level Best’s Instant Seal joint sealing product.
