Level Best Concrete Flooring’s Design & Build team have completed the latest phase of industrial concrete floors on this mixed-use multi-unit speculative development in Castle Donnington, East Midlands on behalf of a repeat developer and repat contractor.
All works have been completed in-house by Level Best commencing with the final subbase stone regulation ensuring a suitable working platform is provided prior to the slab installation commencing. The subbase works also ensures that all slab design tolerances are met on these fully warranted industrial concrete floors slabs in the East Midlands.
Level Best have installed all slabs utilising laser screed technology. The benefit of opting for Level Best and their versatile fleet really comes to the forefront on a mixed-use multi-unit scheme such as this one in Castle Donnington, as the varying specification, sizes and layouts of the individual units require varying concrete floor installation methods. All slab design, installation methods and material selection is completed in conjunction with the recommendations of The Concrete Society’s Technical Report 34 guidance document – an internationally recognised construction industry document – guiding industrial floor installers on best-practice design and installation methods ensuring longevity of the warehouse concrete floors.
This phase of works on Studbrook Business Park in Castle Donnington, East Midlands represents Yorkshire-based Level Best’s final visit to this mixed-use multi-unit warehouse development.
