High Tolerance Concrete Flooring in Essex

Yorkshire-based Level Best Concrete Flooring will be mobilising to Witham in Essex in March 2025 to complete the placement of 100,000 square foot of FM1 high-tolerance concrete flooring utilising the latest boom laser screed technology.

The high-tolerance requirements are driven by the end-users high-bay and specialist shuttle racking systems that will be installed following the slab placement. High degrees of concrete floor surface flatness and levelness will be required to ensure the forklifts and reach trucks can operate at maximum racking height, enabling the end-user to maximise the square feet in this warehouse in Witham, Essex.

Level Best’s Contracts Director Luke Morrow commented on this high-specification upcoming project “We are really looking forward to delivering this 10,000 square metre high tolerance scheme in Essex for a repeat customer. All concrete floor installation will be completed by our in-house teams providing maximum quality control with the supplementation of the latest innovations in concrete flooring laser screed placement and power trowel powerfloat machinery.”

Level Best Concrete Flooring will be designing, supplying, and installing the warehouse slabs in Essex in accordance with The Concrete Society’s TR34 guidance documentation. This is an internationally recognised guidance document managing the quality of warehouse concrete floors.
