The cold store will vary in temperature form -26 to -3 and also features an ambient section within the warehouse known as the dispatch area. Level Best Concrete Flooring was selected to install the concrete floors to the cold store due to their vast experience in constructing the floors in such a technical environment.
The base slab of the main warehouse was reinforced with 2 layers of steel fabric reinforcement and the concrete was laid and compacted using the concrete contractors new lightweight and highly portable laser screed. The floors were powerfloated upon completion of the concrete install to ensure the insulation sits flush with the floor itself.
