The project began with comprehensive sub-base preparation, creating a stable and consistent foundation essential for long-term floor performance. Our team then deployed advanced laser screed technology to accurately place and level the concrete, ensuring a high-quality finish across the entire slab while maximising efficiency on site.
A critical requirement for this installation was achieving an FM2 flatness tolerance in accordance with TR34 4th Edition standards. Through meticulous planning, skilled workmanship, and rigorous quality control processes, this specification was met in full—ensuring the floor meets the demands of its industrial application.
Concrete placement was carried out using a direct discharge method, improving speed, maintaining consistency, and reducing handling time. To enhance durability and minimise future maintenance, permanent steel alpha joints were installed, supporting long-term joint performance.
