This latest phase of concrete removal and replacement at the Daventry Railfreight Terminal is now complete and handed over to the client.
Level Best Concrete Flooring completed the removal of a large section of damaged external concrete floor in record time working around the tenant Malcolm Railfreight. The scope of works entailed Level Best saw cutting sections of concrete using their full depth concrete floor cutting machinery and laying and compacting a new hardcore sub base. The new slab edge was then drilled using a mechanised drilling system to assist installing the new steel dowel bars extremely safely and quickly. Following the preparation works in advance of the new concrete replacement, a high strength Readymixed concrete material was installed and compacted and finished with a rough pan texture to the surface, to provide traction.
