The existing concrete floor slab at this 24 year old warehouse was damaged beyond repair and required removing and replacing. Level Best Concrete Flooring the industrial concrete flooring contractors from Yorkshire was contracted to remove and replace the existing concrete floor in order to provide the client with an excellent long lasting surface finish. The old concrete floor was removed by use of concrete floor saws and telehandlers in order to minimise disruption to the existing sub grade material. Great care has to be taken during this process to alleviate removing concrete without damaging other sections of the building. On completion of the floor slab removal a new steel fabric mesh reinforced concrete floor was installed via mobile pump and Somero laser screed concrete floor levelling machine. The floor was powerfloated to create a highly polished concrete surface and subsequently sealed with a floor sealer manufactured by Sika.
