Due to relocation, this warehouse in Goole was up for re-let as the previous tenants had moved on to a larger industrial unit in the Midlands. The landlord and subsequently letting agent had been in discussions with Level Best Concrete Flooring for sometime as they were interested in cost-effective methods of improving the aesthetics and performance of the concrete slab without sending too much time and money, in order to help re let the building as quickly as possible. Level Best Concrete Flooring suggested various different costs and solutions until a full performance specification was agreed. The main scope of works entailed floor grinding to bring the flatness tolerance into line with the Concrete societies TR34 standards, numerous resin floor repairs and the sealant to the main construction joints and the sawn induced joints. The final piece of the jigsaw was to carry out the Floor Renovation System itself which in brief leaves the floor looking shiny, new and dust free. The Floor renovation System (FRS) also vastly improves the abrasion and wear resistance characteristics of the floor to ease cleaning and improve the longevity of the concrete surface.
The entire process took a total of 8 days from initial mobilisation to completion and so enable the client to put he building to market a lot more quickly than if a more traditional floor grinding operation had taken place. Level Best Concrete Flooring has three concrete floor surveyors within the company and is happy to discuss with landlords, letting agents, building surveyors, engineers and third parties budget costs and solutions for both internal and external concrete floor slabs.
