This bulk storage provider based on the old airfield industrial estate in Swinderby, Lincolnshire required more space to store their products due to Brexit. Level Best Concrete Flooring was contracted to install the new warehouse concrete floor slab. The initial preparation works commenced with the laser controlled sub base laying ahead of the ground floor slab. Perimeter columns were isolated and construction joints set up to precise levels. Once the ready mix concrete was rolling in via supplier Breedon, Level Best utilised the Somero SRS-4 laser screed machine to install the high tolerance warehouse concrete floor slab to the tolerance of FM2 as per TR34, latest edition. All subsequent sawn induced joints were sealed and protected using the Sawcut Seal joint sealant product that Level Best use to improve the longevity of the concrete floors.
