This new warehouse extension in Goole required a high tolerance concrete floor slab for the automated systems to operate on the floor successfully. Level Best Concrete Flooring was contracted to carry out the design and construction of the concrete floor slab during the month of October 2022.
The ground had been vibro improved to allow the floor slab to become ground bearing without the need for cast insitu piling systems. Level Best has vast experience in constructing concrete floor slabs using this technology and reinforced floor designs. The slab was constructed using one of Level Best Concrete Flooring’s six laser screed concrete flooring machines and the flatness tolerance of FM2 as per TR34 2013 edition was easily achieved. Initial sub base preparation commenced using the Bobcat sub base grader machine which is fully owned and operated by the industrial concrete flooring contractors.
Once the joints were installed within the floor slab and the surface was sealed with curing agent, the completed warehouse concrete floor slab was handed over to another satisfied client.
