Another design and build concrete flooring contract has been delivered by Level Best Concrete Flooring in the North-East of England. The industrial specialist successfully delivered over 4,000m² of high tolerance concrete flooring for a speculatively built warehouse development in County Durham.
Level Best’s full design and build capabilities were on show commencing with the design and indemnified ground floor slab design in accordance with The Concrete Society’s TR34 document. Level Best’s in house and external design teams combine to review all the project specification documents to put forward the most economic and suitable slab design, offering maximum future potential letting capacity whilst maintaining structural and operational durability.
Final subbase regulating works commenced in County Durham, North-East England to ensure design tolerances were not exceeded. Steel armoured joints were erected prior to industrial concrete floor installation utilising large bay laser screed technology methods. The slabs were placed to FM2 surface regulating as per the TR34 document again.
This design and build project in County Durham represents Level Best ‘s latest project completion in the North-East of England with similar projects recently completed in Newton Aycliffe, Middlesbrough and Gateshead.
