Level Best were employed to assist a large national contractor in designing and installing industrial concrete floors to 8 units located in Kings Norton, South Birmingham, West Midlands. Due to the complex nature of a multi-unit building with multiple trades onsite at any one time, the Contractor required a flexible and agile industrial flooring specialist able to mobilise to sight in shorter than normal lead times, whilst maintaining high quality and service levels.
Due to the flexibility required, Level Best’s extensive fleet of innovative laser screed technology comes to the forefront, with the Yorkshire-based specialist operating 5 laser screeds across the country at any one time. Enabling quality and level control to be maintained despite the location in the country and the mobilisation required. This was the fourth of eight units completed by Level Best Concrete Flooring on this South Birmingham, West Midlands scheme. All slabs designed, levelled and placed have been to the flatness and abrasion requirements determined by the client, engineer and architect’s specifications. All delivery dates have been met by Level Best, despite the constant date changes due to the multi-unit complex build.
