Major concrete floor removal and replacement project recommences in the Midlands

Yorkshire-based Level Best Concrete Flooring have remobilised to Wolverhampton in the West Midlands to recommence a major concrete floor slab removal and replacement project.

Following the removal of around 4,000 tonne of existing defective warehouse concrete floors around two months ago, Level Best demobilised from site allowing the Hertfordshire-based main contractor to complete other subcontractor site dilapidation, refurbishment and repair works to other elements of the building.

Level Best have arrived back onsite completing the final subbase grading and levelling prior to the steel armoured daywork joint installation and the reinstatement of 10,000m2 of TR34 FM2 warehouse floors utilising laser screed technology. All slab reinstatement works in Wolverhampton, West Midlands will be completed by Level Best’s various slab installation teams utilising the latest innovative industrial concrete flooring machinery.

Level Best are also now offering clients, contractors and end-users a full onsite concrete crushing service, providing the opportunity to crush concrete arising onsite prior to grading and reutilisation onsite. This new concrete crushing service offers COMMERCIAL, PROGRAMME AND SUSTAINABILITY savings by reusing the defective concrete onsite, saving on haulage to and from site of arisings and new imported materials and reducing overall carbon footprint.
