As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our environmental performance and supporting biodiversity, Level Best Concrete Flooring has created a wildflower meadow at our head office premises. The project has transformed an area of the site into a more natural habitat, providing an important source of food and shelter for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while also creating a more attractive and environmentally friendly space for our team and visitors to enjoy.
Wildflower meadows can play an important role in supporting local ecosystems. A mixture of native wildflowers and grasses provides nectar and pollen throughout the growing season, helping to support a wide range of insects and other wildlife. For Level Best, the meadow is a simple but meaningful way of putting our ESG commitments into practice. As a business operating within the construction industry, we recognise the importance of considering our environmental impact and looking for practical ways to make a positive difference. The meadow will also develop and change throughout the seasons, creating a living part of our head office environment rather than simply another landscaped area.
We believe that environmental responsibility is about more than large-scale initiatives.
