Level Best Concrete Flooring the industrial concrete flooring contractors were awarded the full design and construct package for this 50,000 square foot warehouse in Rother Valley, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The full scope of works including the slab design by Level Best commenced with the initial floor preparation including the laser controlled sub- base levelling, joint installation and column surround detailing. The slab preparation works took 5 days to carry out with the subsequent floor slab pouring taking a total of 5 days, despite the current delays due to concrete supply shortages. The Level Best Concreting team achieved excellent results in terms of level and flatness control and the independent floor survey confirmed the floor had been laid to the flatness tolerance of FM1, a remarkable result.
