Level Best Concrete Flooring was contacted by racking and mezzanine floor suppliers, Filplastic UK Ltd to break out a section of damaged concrete at their logistics distribution centre on the outskirts of Goole in East Yorkshire.
The concrete replacement had to be carried out over the weekend as the distribution centre is constantly in use throughout the week and so this proved to be the only window of opportunity. Level Best Concrete Flooring operatives commenced the removal of the existing concrete slab in the early hours of Saturday morning to allow enough time to remove the concrete prior to the arrival of the readymixed concrete. A high strength and fast setting concrete mix was supplied by Cemex Materials UK Ltd, late on the Saturday morning to allow enough curing time for the concrete to be trafficked on Monday morning.
