Level Best Concrete Flooring have carried out the design and construction of a new cast insitu powerfloated and polished concrete floor in Wembley, London.
The total area of 70,000 square feet was cast over 4 consecutive days using both the Somero and Ligchine laser screed floor levelling machines. London Concrete supplied 380m3 per day from their concrete plant, which was only 2 miles from the concrete flooring project.
Level Best’s full scope of works included the laser controlled levelling of the stone sub base layer, the installation of steel profile construction joints, laying and power floating of the concrete floor to the flatness tolerance of FM2 as per TR34 2013 edition, saw cutting and sealing of the joints and spray curing of the floor slab. These concrete flooring works took only two weeks to complete and Level Best have already secured further concrete flooring contracts with the customer.
