Level Best Concrete Flooring has installed the cast insitu laser screed concrete floor slabs on this new warehousing project located in Stewartby, Bedford, Bedfordshire.
The total area of floor space was 6,000 square metres and the floors were cast utilising the Ligchine laser screed concrete floor levelling and compacting machine and powerfloated over a 5 day period, including the sections laid on insulation. Once the warehouse powerfloating operations were completed the floor joints were installed and subsequently sealed using the instant seal saw cut sealant system. With the concrete supplied by the local Cemex plant and the steel fabric reinforcement supplied via Kent Wire, this project was successfully completed both in time and on budget.
