Channel Island concrete flooring contractors

Level Best Concrete Flooring from Goole in East Yorkshire has recently been awarded the contract to carry out the largest ever cast insitu design and build concrete flooring contract ever to be produced on the island of Guernsey. Following meetings on the island and numerous subsequent conference calls Level Best and the client, The State of Guernsey, have agreed the best and most suitable design solution for the new waste recycling centre on the island. The Level Best Concrete Flooring design team converted the original design solution to a jointless Bekaert steel fibre solution, fully suspended on piles with a flared head for support to the reinforced floor slab. The waste recycling centre floor slab is also being installed with a microsilica concrete supplied by the only batching plant on Guernsey, operated by the Ronez Group. The Level Best Concrete Flooring design team has drawn from all of their years of experience in working with microsilica concrete to ensure the correct product is supplied in conjunction with their laser screed and powerfloating systems, which also incorporate a dry shake topping and surface hardener onto the concrete floor surface.

Further information on this exciting concrete flooring project will be published on our website in due course.
