Design and build cast insitu concrete floor slab in Hounslow, London

Level Best Concrete Flooring the Yorkshire based industrial concrete flooring contractors has recently completed the design and construction of this new warehouse concrete floor slab on behalf of a new client in Hounslow, London. The concrete floor slab was 170mm deep and reinforced with 1 layer of steel fabric mesh, laid on a “just in time” basis in front of the Ligchine laser screed concrete flooring machine.
Level Best commenced works on site by carrying out the final layer of sub base laser levelling of stone, utilising the laser controlled sub base box and JCB 3CX. The machinery easily laid and compacted the sub base layer, over three consecutive days, to extremely accurate tolerances of +/- 5mm from datum, with a good quality graded stone supply.
Once the laser controlled sub base levelling and the floor had been laid with the laser screed. The level surface was then powerfloated using the large “ride on” powerfloats to the standard of FM2 “special” as per TR34 3rd edition. Once the concrete powerfloating process was complete the concrete floor slab was sealed with Sika Proseal, one of the best floor curing agents in the market place. Sawn induced stress relief joints were then cut and sealed at the same time using the Level Best Sawcut Seal joint sealant product.
The above job was 4,500m2 in size and the laser controlled sub base levelling took 2 days to carry out with the concrete floor laying taking a total of 3 days. 1 week to carry out the concrete flooring project and another successful industrial warehouse concrete floor slab has been carried out by Level Best Concrete Flooring.
