Industrial concrete floor slab in Alford, Louth, Lincolnshire

The client required a new concrete floor slab to fix their new temporary building to increase the amount of warehousing space at their existing premises. Level Best Concrete Flooring the industrial concrete flooring contractor based in Yorkshire carried out the design and construction of the new steel fabric reinforced cast insitu concrete floor slab in just one casting day. The area of 1,500m2 was laid to a depth of 170mm and installed via a mobile concrete pump, the concrete flooring contractors laser screed concrete floor laying machine and the competent concrete flooring operatives. The concrete floor was powerfloated to the flatness tolerance of FM2 as per the Concrete Societies TR34 2013, 4th edition and sealed with a Sika Proseal sealer and dust inhibiting compound. On completion of the warehouse concrete floor slab, induced joints were sawn and sealed using Sawcut Seal the superb joint sealing system.
