Level Best Concrete Flooring the Yorkshire based industrial concrete flooring contractor has completed a large external concrete yard on behalf of an insulation distributor for their new distribution centre in Reading.
Level Best pre set the polythene and steel fabric mesh and laid the 200mm deep concrete floor slabs utilising a mobile concrete pump supplied by Camfaud. The 40N Air entrained concrete was supplied by the local Breedon concrete plant at the rate of 30m3 per hour for the supply rate. The Level Best concrete finishing team provided the client with a traditional brushed surface finish along with perimeter trowelled margins.
The total area of 3,000m2 was set up and cast within a 7 day working period over two separate site visits. Level Best look forward to carrying out the internal warehouse concrete pours in 3 weeks’ time. Level Best Concrete Flooring will be utilising both of their laser screed concrete floor laying machines in tandem with each other to provide an excellent quality controlled and flat cast insitu concrete floor slab.
