External concrete hardstandings at speculative warehouse development in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Level Best Concrete Flooring has completed another concrete flooring project in behalf of St Modwen Developments, this time in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The external yard slabs totalled 4,000m2 and were cast over an entire programme, including shuttering and mesh installation of just ten days.
The external concrete slabs designed by JPG of Leeds were 190mm in depth and reinforced with 1 layer of A252 steel fabric mesh. The slabs were laid using both direct discharge and Mobile pumps were access was restricted. Concrete was supplied by the two local batching plants operated by Hanson Premix. The floor slabs were finished using a brush and trowelled edge margins, the usual preference for speculative warehouse developers like St Modwens.

Level Best Concrete Flooring carry out the construction of both internal and external concrete floor slabs and would welcome the opportunity for further concrete flooring enquiries.
