Laser screed concrete flooring contractors Level Best Concrete Flooring utilised both of their laser screed concrete flooring machines during the same one day to put to assist the concrete flooring team in laying the 370m3 of concrete very quickly. Concrete supplier Hanson supplied the concrete from local Wakefield batching plant and also the city plant in Leeds to supply the two laser screeds consistently. The slab 200mm deep and reinforced with layer of steel fabric laid in front of the two laser screeds was laid to the tolerance of FM2 as per TR34 2013 edition for a new speculative warehouse unit.
Once the Concrete had been laid by the laser screed machines the finishing and powerfloating shifts commenced their operations to provide a fully polished surface to the floor slab by 5am the following morning. Sawn induced contraction joints were introduced at 6 metre centres and immediately sealed using Sawcut Seal joint sealant.
