Level Best Concrete Flooring the Yorkshire based industrial concrete flooring specialists has completed the installation of a new warehouse concrete floor slab in the seaside resort of Scarborough. The concrete floor was constructed utilising the Somero laser screed in conjunction with a Mobile concrete pump and the skilled workforce. The Somero laser screed could traffic over the two layers of steel fabric mesh and loose bar without affecting the structural integrity of the reinforcement design.
Temporary protection had to be provided around the perimeter of the building as the cladding detail meant the floor needed casting prior. Level Best used a blended concrete mix supplied by the local Watts Mix plant with the addition of a superplasticiser to control initial setting times throughout the deliveries.
On completion of the powerfloating process, Level Best spray cured the floor with Sika Proseal to inhibit concrete dusting and to seal the concrete surface.
