Speculative multi-unit industrial development In Horsham, Sussex

Two speculative industrial units in Horsham, West Sussex have recently had the slabs designed and installed by Yorkshire-based Level Best Concrete Flooring. The speculative development was carried out on behalf of Tungsten Properties, one of the UK’s largest speculative industrial and commercial developers.

Level Best’s full scope of works was on shown in West Sussex, with works commencing with the final grading and levelling of the subbase to an extremely accurate tolerance. Re-entrant column isolation details were installed and galvanised steel armoured joints prepared for installation in the level access doorways.

Once all preparations work were complete and signed off in Horsham, the mesh reinforced slab installation works commenced utilising direct discharge and flood pour laser screed methods to install the slab to a high-tolerance in accordance with TR34 4th Edition. A full powerfloat surface finish was given, a spray applied curing and sealing solution applied and sawn induced joints installed.

This was Yorkshire-based Level Best Concrete Flooring’s second project working with the Kent-based main contractor and the feedback from the site team was excellent, with Level Best complimented on their on site management of staff and promptness at dealing with any problems arising throughout the project.
