Industrial concrete flooring specialist sub-contractor Level Best have recently completed the design and build of a freezer floor slab in Warrington, Cheshire on behalf of a valued repeat customer.
All initial slab design, reinforcement preparation, steel armoured joint installation and pre-pour activities in Warrington were carried out in house by Level Best’s experience teams.
The slab installation, which had a FM2 surface requirement due to the height of the freezer, was levelled and installed utilising Level Best’s latest innovative purchase, a electric-powered walk-behind laser screed machine. The machine is lightweight and mobile and therefore is capable of operating on mesh reinforcement whilst providing a reduced carbon omitting option to the client and site team.
This project in Warrington, Cheshire was the third one Level Best have completed with this client this year, with other freezer floor slabs installed in Ledbury Gloucestershire and Jarrow, Tyne-upon-Wear.
