Level Best Concrete Flooring the specialist industrial concrete flooring contractor from Yorkshire has completed the first warehouse on this speculative warehouse development on behalf of St Modwen in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Level Best designed and constructed the cast insitu concrete floor slabs to a depth of 200mm with one single layer of bottom mesh. The warehouse was approximately 50,000 square feet in size and utilising the Ligchine laser screed Level Best built the floor slab in 4 consecutive days.
Prior to the commencement of the laser screed flooring Level Best installed the final 40mm is stone trimming later using their laser controlled stone levelling machine. This stone trimming and compaction took three days to carry out and so in conjunction with the slab laying process the entire warehouse was completed in just two weeks.
