Level Best Concrete Flooring has been busy installing and removing and existing damaged warehouse concrete floor slab in Bradford, West Yorkshire on behalf of a major food retailers production facility. The existing damaged warehouse concrete floor was removed in sections and lifted safely out of the warehouse onto pallets, where it was taken for crunching and recycling for the use of hardcore.
The new floor was designed and constructed by Level Best using a steel fibre reinforced “jointless” floor slab solution, which incorporated a natural dry shake topping and surface hardening product applied to the top surface layer of the concrete floor. The construction joints within this warehouse floor in Bradford where made of steel and placed in locations underneath the racking system and hence being protected from the trafficking of fork lift trucks. Due to the steel fibre “jointless” floor design, no sawn induced joints were required within the floor slab construction, a major benefit for the client when using numerous fork lift trucks and pallet trucks over the entire footprint of the floor areas. Level Best Concrete Flooring will return to site in August 2021 to carry out the remaining phase of the floor slab removal and replacement project in Bradford, West Yorkshire, for more details on this project or indeed if you have a floor removal and replacement project of your own in West Yorkshire or anywhere else in the UK, please contact one of our Flooring estimators on 01405 819199 or e mail enquiries@levelbestconcreteflooring.co.uk
