Level Best Concrete Flooring has successfully delivered 10,000m² of industrial concrete flooring in Goole, East Yorkshire, supporting the construction of a major new train manufacturing facility. This large-scale warehouse flooring project demonstrates Level Best’s expertise in high-performance industrial slabs designed for heavy-duty manufacturing environments.
The project involved the full construction of internal warehouse floors for the new facility, providing a durable and precision-engineered surface capable of withstanding demanding operational loads. As part of the works, Level Best carried out the final subbase regulation using its in-house subbase levelling team. By managing this critical stage internally, the company ensured tight tolerances and optimal slab performance from the ground up.
To achieve consistent quality and high flatness standards, large bay laser screed methods were adopted across the majority of the floor area. This modern installation technique improves accuracy, productivity and overall slab finish. In more complex areas, particularly around service pits, traditional hand laying techniques were carefully utilised to maintain precision and structural integrity.
All concrete slabs were fully powerfloated and sealed, creating a hard-wearing, abrasion-resistant surface tailored to the tenant’s operational requirements. The finished floor provides excellent durability, reduced dusting and long-term performance within a heavy industrial setting.
These works are closely aligned with the wider development initiative, driving industrial growth across the Humber region.
By delivering high-quality industrial concrete flooring in East Yorkshire, Level Best continues to support major manufacturing and logistics investment across the region, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted specialist in warehouse and industrial floor construction.
