New industrial concrete floor slab in Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Level Best Concrete Flooring, the industrial concrete flooring specialist, have recently completed a 7,000m² industrial concrete floor slab in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

The initial slab preparation involved the levelling and trimming of the sub base directly below the 7,000m² slab (find out more about Level Best’s sub base levelling here). The slab constituted two layers of steel fabric mesh and armoured steel profile joints cast to a depth of 200mm using C40 ready-mixed concrete from Breedon’s local Sleaford batching plant. The slab had a powerfloated finish and was sealed using a proseal curing agent.

The main contractor stated that the completed slab was “as good a Powerfloated slab as he had seen” and that he would definitely use Level Best Concrete Flooring again.
