High Tolerance Steel Fibre Reinforced & Waste Recycling Flooring

Waste recycling centres in the UK have increased tenfold over the last few years. The industry is highly regulated and monitored to ensure the material recovery facilities are ran as efficiently and safely as possible. The concrete floor slabs within these waste recycling facilities are critical to the efficiency of the whole process.

Wheel loading vehicles, tracked vehicles and hydraulic excavators require a durable and reliable surface with which to operate on. Waste Recycling facility managers do not want to be constantly either repairing their plant and equipment or even worse than that, the concrete floor slab.

Level Best Concrete Flooring pride themselves in providing the finishing touches to your industrial concrete floor slabs.

This photograph shows a Permaban strip joint, fixed to a timber shutter. The galvanised edge strip will protect the arris edge of the concrete floor during trafficking, once the timber shutter has been removed.

This detailing can save the client and end user thousands of pounds as it provides protection to the concrete, which improves the transition between internal and external doorways and limits damage to the forklift trucks.

We carry out high tolerance concrete floor slabs in warehouses which require narrow aisle fork lift trucks with integrated wire guidance systems. The cast insitu industrial concrete floor slabs can be laid to standards Category 1 or Category for defined movement floors and as per TR34 2003 edition. Unique methods of construction are used in conjunction with floor surveyors who measure the concrete in both its plastic and completed states. These high tolerance concrete floor slabs ensure the smooth running of the fork lift especially at the construction joint interface. At Level Best Concrete Flooring we can also design your warehouse concrete floor in either traditional fabric mesh or steel fibre jointless systems.
